Good morning! (Well, it’s morning as I’m typing this, so there.)

Welcome to The Andrea Files.

My name is Andrea, and I am…..tired of starting a lot of blogs that I can’t keep up. By my count, this is my ninth or tenth blog that I’ve started and left by the wayside because of life and boredom. Now, here’s the one positive thing about starting so many blogs: I’m always refining my vision for what my ideal blog would be like.

In the past, I wanted to start a run-of-the-mill beauty blog where I’d discuss the latest launches, tips-and-tricks for achieving a specific look, and a whole lot of other beauty business. I’ve gone from using only natural products to chemical products and everything in between.

However, as I’ve gotten older, I’ve come to search for a deeper meaning beyond encouraging the mass consumption of products. You see, I’m a cradle Roman Catholic, and I’ve been very deeply rooted in my faith since childhood. While I may have explored other faiths (and continue to maintain respect for them) my Catholic faith is one of the most defining aspects of my moral compass, and I’d like to share that with you in a meaningful way. That meaningful way will hopefully grow as the blog develops further into the vision that I have for it.

So what is this blog going to be about? Well….it’ll be about everything. It’ll be about my growing in my faith and my relationship with God. It’ll be about my love of beauty products. It’ll be about my musings on things I see in life. And there may be some food making it’s way onto this blog. Who knows? This is my tabula rasa, and I’m inviting you to join me.
